SERBIA TOUR: 7 days / 6 nights bus

Day 1 Belgrade – Niš - Arrival to Belgrade/Niš Airport and transfer to the hotel in Niš. Accomodation and time for settle and relax. Walking tour through the center of Niš wich includes Fortress, King Milan Square, Archaeological Museum, Pedestrian Zone and Shopping Districts, Bohemian Quarter in Kopitareva Street (Kazandžijsko Sokače). After the tour free time in the city for meal on own. Later on, visit to Monument Skull Tower (stone structure embeded with human skulls), MEDIANA (archaeological sity from the ancient period) and Niška Banja Spa. Arrive at the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 2 Niš – Pirot – Stara planina mountain Breakfast at hotel. Departue for Pirot. City tour which include Fortress (Pirot Kale), Old House (ethnographic museum) and craft workshop in which woven rugs are made (Pirot's ćilims). Free time for meal on own. Later on, departure to Dojkinci Village and
visit to Tupavica waterfalls. Continue towards Slavinje Village. Upon arrival at Slavinje, 20 minute hiking tour to the unique nature phenomenon Rosomačko Ždrelo. Departure for St. John's Monastery in
Poganovo Village. This monastery is situated in the gorge of river Jerma. Continue towards Babin Zub (1757 m) on Stara planina mountain. Accomodation in hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 Stara planina mountain – Knjaževac – Sokobanja After breakfast departue to Knjaževac. Visit the County museum which is composed of the Town museum, Archeo-ethnic park in Ravna and the ancient site Timacum Minus. Continue towards Sokobanja, one of the most visited spas in Serbia. Therapeutic powers of thermal springs in Sokobanja were known as far back as the time of Romans. Upon arrival free time for meal on own. Later on walking tour of the park in
Sokobanja. Accomodation in hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4 Sokobanja – Zaječar – Kladovo Breakfast at hotel. Travel to Zaječar. Visit to Lazar’s cave on the way to Zaječar. Tour of Felix Romuliana – archaeological site and UNESCO World Heritage Site of Serbia. Ancient Roman complex of palaces and temples was builted by Emperor Gaterius. Continue towards Kladovo. Sightseeing of natural phenomenon - stone bridges on the Vratna river on the way to Kladovo. Upon arrival to Kadovo, accomodation in hotel. Lunch independent. Leisure time. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 Kladovo – Žagubica After breakfast, guided tour of Kladovo surrounding including visit to Roman fortifications of Diana, hidro-power plant Djerdap and the remains of the Trajan Bridge. Independent lunch at the restaurant on the Danube bank in Kladovo. Departure for Žagubica. Upon arrival, sightseeing of the river Mlava spring. Accomodation in hotel. Rest of day is free for leisure. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6 Žagubica – Ćuprija – Beograd - After breakfast, we continue our drive through Gornjak’s gorge (Gates of Homolje). Visit to Monastery Gornjak built in 14th century as the endownment by Knez Lazar. Later on, visit to Blagoveštenje monastery built in the cliffside. Return to Krepoljin and continuation of a drive towards Beljanica mountain. Sightseeing of Lisine waterfalls. Independent lunch at the restaurant near the waterfalls. Continue towards Ćuprija. Visit to Resava cave and Ravanica Monastery. Departure to Beograd. Accomodation in hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 7 Beograd - After breakfast, morning tour of the capital of Serbia, including New Belgrade, Saint Sava Temple, Old and New Royal Palaces, Serbian Parliament, Monument to Nikola Tesla, Republic Square, Kalemegdan fortress etc. After the city tour, free time until transfer to airport in Belgrade/Niš for flight home.

The price of the package depends on the number of passangers. It is possible to modify the program acording to the interest of the group.
